Hello Fencers and Families!
We hope everyone is looking forward to the Thanksgiving Holiday and if you are in town this weekend, we'd love for you to join us here at CBA. Here are our holiday hours and special events this weekend:
ALL STUDENTS
CBA will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 28th
We will resume our normal schedule on Saturday, 11/30
BLACK & BLUE FRIDAY 2024
Our yearly tradition of charity continues and we'd love for everyone to join us for bouting, lessons and more! Here's the schedule for this year:
Friday 11/29 -- 9:30 am - Noon
Open bouting with coaches! Coaches will be available for bouting and lessons on a limited basis during the event.
Our friends at the Oakeshott Institute will bring some of their museum pieces for students to look at and carefully handle. This is an extremely unique experience usually reserved for museum workers and researchers.
Suggested donation is $25, but extra generosity is encouraged!
We are partnering with Focus MN again this year. From their website: "We are a charitable outreach of the Orthodox Church in the Twin Cities, providing basic-needs assistance to those who come to our doors." More info at the link below:
We are hoping to beat our previous goal each year. This year we are aiming to raise $7k dollars. If you would like to give, but are unable to attend the event, please use this link below to donate and help us reach our goal!
