13 CBA fencers competed in men’s foil, men’s epee, and women’s epee at the Midwest
Regional Open Circuit – Regional Junior/Cadet Circuit in Barrington, Illinois over the first
weekend of September.
We had six finalists:
• Div II Men’s Foil: A.J. Berscheid
• Veteran Men’s Foil: Patrick Flanagan (3 rd ) - Erik Clippard (6 th )
• Div II Men’s Epee: Ben Takata (5 th )
• Veteran Women’s Epee: Anna Schliep (3 rd )
• Junior Men’s Epee: Marsden Rowland (7 th )
Our other competitors were foilists James Garske, Graeme Yates, Chase Drawz, and
epeeists Oliver Shoemaker, Faisa Mohammed, Quinn Bissen, and Bram Smith.
