Germany Fencing Camp

Seven CBA fencers are currently at the 16th International Fencing Camp in Bocholt, Germany.  The camp includes 105 fencers from eight countries and 18 coaches and training specialist from nine countries.

Our goal is to give our fencers as much experience as possible against different levels and styles, and that is certainly available at the camp. On Sunday our jet-lagged fencers were able participate in a stretching and mobilization session run by two times World Cup champion Lizzi Knehtl of Austria.  Monday’s activities consisted of a morning run followed by a complete round-robin in each weapon: so our epeeists and epeeistes got 30 bouts each, plus at least one lesson.
