CBA is excited to announce that we now offer a full suite of Military Sabre classes. Throughout many years of personal study and training, Coach Brandon Foat has carefully developed a three-year looping program that leads students through the techniques needed
to become skilled in the methodology of 19th-century military officers. Students may start classes at any point in the series and know they will get the full training.
Skills are taught from the vision of multiple masters in the art. Beginning with Alfred Hutton’s book, The Swordsman, as the backbone, adding the work of Italo Santelli, the father of modern Sabre and the Italo-Hungarian method, and Brandon’s own extensive research from original manuals, means this class offers a complex and complete system for Sabre. Add in the historical knowledge of the instructors, giving a broader understanding of the techniques, you have a class you won’t find anywhere else.
